Five minutes walk to the village, the lakefront, and the Church of the Good Shepherd.

The Summit Terraces sit within the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve - one of the largest in the world. On a clear night, step out onto the deck. Or take the short drive up to Mount John Observatory for guided stargazing across the Mackenzie Basin.
